Optima Battery

I just lifted this battery out of the 2.0 breaker. Weird looking thing.
Never heard of them myself, but a quick google frightened me with the price!
It's an AGM one too.
Has anyone else ever seen or used one of these?
Are they any good?
Not quite sure what to do with it.
For now it's on the battery maintainer.

I'd use it on a car you're going to keep. Seems a very good battery with loads of cranking power, 815a!
 
They are used a lot over here in the States. They are very rugged and last a long time with good power. I would definitely keep it!

Common side effect it seems over there, neat solution though.

Thanks. It only took 30 minutes to fully charge up so pretty sure its a good'un.
Just looks so small compared to the usual ones.
Think it'll be going on wifey's 2.5i.
