Does anyone have any experience with the Turbosmart Dual Port Kompact BOV Kit? Looking to buy one shortly.

The Kompact BMW Kit is a performance bolt-on replacement for the factory plastic bypass valves offering greater boost response and no leaks.

Looks quite smart, you can operate it as full DV or full BOV or 50/50.

Before I up the boost with the tune, looking to make sure all the pipework, intake + fmic are in place.

After furrther research, still leaves me with the OEM plastic charge pipe...so now looking at EvolutionRacewerks charge pipe with HKS bov. Trying to arrange from n54tuning.

That dv kit looks good value for the money , can you fit different springs to them or split for maintenance ?

The ER charge pipe looks excellent but very expensive , have you looked at this one ?

Stick with full recirc, it'll never run quite right with a BOV

What makes you say that? It was my understanding that whether it recirculates a small amount of air or not won't make any difference, when it vents the throttle is closed anyway.

The thing to check is spring rate to ensure the right boost builds without leaking and also opens when throttle closed.

Or am I talking rubbish? :D

The n55 works differently to the n54, no maf

I asked BMS. Won't fit the z4, longer pipe needed. The ER one is specifically for the z4, hence more expensive.
