Try to buy a Z4, quite a stressful and difficult enterprise! I saw this on in Autrader in my favourite colour, and would appreciate any opinions on the car before I travel a long way to look at it. Thanking you in anticipation. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-details/202302094094439?fromSavedAds=true&advertising-location=at_cars&sort=price-asc&postcode=tn221hf&radius=1500

If you like this colour- my old (and
old Maldives has gone back up for sale on eBay tonight

Best 2.5 I ever owned and it’s had loads of work done to it… plus it’s got heated seats

The one on auto trader looks in good order mind you

It looks smart enough but I know Roadster owners really like having heated seats, which the A/T one doesn't have.

Have you though about this one on here? https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=138171

OK it's quite a bit dearer but the seats are heated and as they are M-Sport ones they would probably sell for the difference!

Good luck anyway.

It’s definitely the right colour, but then I’m biased. The car has had a chequered MOT history but looks nicely detailed, particularly under the bonnet. It may have fallen into the hands of a sympathetic owner for the last couple of years, it may just have been spruced up for sale. There are scant details in the Autotrader advert, so I would be checking the service history and recent receipts for work done. It’s not cheap and the spec looks poor. Particularly, you may regret buying a roadster without heated seats. On the plus side, if the exterior is genuinely unmarked (unlikely) there is a lot of value in that. Oh, and check the condition of the alloys, as less than perfect 108s can look really poor.

I posted the above before seeing [ref]bigwinn[/ref]’s reply. If you can get this for less than the one you are interested in, it’s a much better bargain in my opinion. I did a lot of work getting this car shipshape and Stuart did a lot of improvement after me. It’s a well specced car, and goes (and sounds) exceptionally well for a 2.5i. Not only has it got heated seats, they’re also M-sports as well.

Note- and I cant speak on behalf of the seller, I didn't sell the car with msport seats...

I doubt it has them now and the photos are the ones I took well over a year ago

That you everyone for your help. The eBay car did not turn up on my search, so thanks for finding it. I have made contact with the seller and hope to conclude a deal soon!

Yup that photo looks like Bigwinn’s drive to me. Have you seen more recent photos or the car itself?
