Opinions -> black protective on the sills (remove or keep?)

The previous owner was a German car lover who has put the black protective stickers on my Z4M. I think he wanted to give it a personal touch or maybe he did it for protection (in Germany a lot Porsche's have it also for protection).

I can't make up my mind if I hate it or like it…? It does not bother me, that’s why it is still on the car. Maybe it does protect from stone chips and it also makes the car look a little different than other Z4’s.

What would you guys do…keep the black protective or remove it?

I voted "keep it" as I quite like it. It adds a purposeful look to the beast

Remove it hides the last part of the sill which i really like the way it curls outward

If you wanted to keep the protection and see the paint you could get some clear protective film.

Not too bad but on balance I'd replace it with clear as stated above.
