Oops, what have I blown. Auto dimming mirror + MFSW

Hey guys, I've accidentally shorted the interior auto dimming mirror while fitting a car DVR. When I say shorted I mean I've accidentally touched the purple-white wire to the brown-black wire above the interior reading lights (routes to the mirror).

I've checked with a multimeter and I'm definitely not getting any power through the purple-white wire, it should be +12v which switches when the ignition is in position 1.

I've checked fuse number 25 and it's fine :( . I've also noticed the MFSW has stopped working and the lights in the buttons no longer come on :(

Any ideas on what's happened?

That has to be fuse 25.... Have you tried swapping it with another... Even though it may look like it still has its wire intact?

No idea how it could also have blown fuse 28 too though.

Looking at the rain sensor diagram above, notice how it goes to fuse 13? Listed as the airbag!

*Out to check* - fuse 13 is blown! Switched out and it's back to normal, MFSW is working and I'm getting 12V switched from the violet wire.

Rain sensors were working fine???! How very random.

Thanks :)

Looks like you have a face lift car. The fuse index card you posted appears to be pre face lift. Glad you got it sorted. Good sleuthing mate! You will want to find the correct index card for future reference.
