One Z4, check!

Hi there,

I picked up my Z4 on Friday (28th) and have been reading this forum for some great advice on what I can do to my Z4 and what to look out for.

The wheels were refurbed 2 days before I bought it.
I have already ordered the 3" Mangowalk stubby aerial (advice from here) as yes, the original really looks dated.
I have modified the radio so it's now set for European frequency limits. (I can't believe the guy who imported it in 2005 didn't do it sooner!)

I want to:
Reprogram the key functions - passenger one touch up, 10mph auto lock, triple indicate, roof-on-remote
aux in,
proclip iPhone-TomTom mount,
speaker upgrade,
clear front indicators,

That's all I can think of for now, if anyone else can recommend anything else that would be great.
I also see you go on meets which I really hope to join you on (work dependant).

Lovely car! Same colour as mine, I love the way the colour looks different depending on the light. How do you plan to do the changes to the roof movement?
 
Hi and welcome, much of a price saving buying an import?

Also I think you will struggle with the tripple flash on a pre facelift model :(

No tripple flash huh? :( ok, no problem.

As far as savings? I thought it was a good price, <50K miles, <£9,500 with service, MOT & refurb on wheels. Everything is very tidy and as far as some people thinking the Z4 is a "rattley" car (I've read on here) I think it's quite strong and sturdy. So far I'm VERY impressed and I keep trying to think of reasons for going out as I want to drive it :driving:

BTW, from owning a 318ci to the Z4 it's amazing how many looks you get from people :D
