One touch passenger window?

Weird, and ive searched this a few times. But with the one tough window option, why des the passenger window not auto up? Tried both switches and they are the same. Is this normal, or do i have to get it programmed?

Got a few things programmed at pod today, so all windows and roof come down with the key, and lights flash on lock and unlock

I think i read it was a safety thing to prevent you accidently dismembering a small childs head or something equally unlikely. I thought windows had anti trap sensors for that anyway :)

Yeah thats what i have seen as well, but to me also makes no sense!

Cheers for the info on the new badges by the way  Get some tomorrow

Both mine auto-up on both Z's too? Doesn't it turn off if you disconnect the battery i.e. the windows need to be calibrated? Or maybe I'm spouting nonsense :D

Doubtfull! From the man with the full lock fix for DSC...mine doesn't auto-up so will try callibration :D

How weird! My passenger one auto-ups/auto downs.... but my drivers window needs manual closing/raising!! :?

Tried the calibration thig, well the window reset by holding the button down etc, but no luck. Mine does not auto up with either switch, so im guessing its something that needs to be programmed again.

iirc and (UK market only as US is different) pre facelift the drivers is one toucn passenger manual. Post facelift both are one touch.
Prefacelift can be indy only coded to work both as one touch.

The window reset/calibration has nothing to do with it and removing the battery does not zero out the coding or setting.

Ignition lights on with windows down.
Hold the up button all the way up, and then keep holding for 10 seconds afterwards, then hold all the way down and for 10 seconds afterwards, then hold all the way up again and for 10 seconds afterwards,

They should then be OK.

Mine is pre-facelift and both are auto up and down, but lose their programming from time to time.. So I just carry out the above :D

Thanks :)
but do i hold both windows in the same time? or do i do each at a time? and is it preferred to do the passenger window from its side or from the driver side is better?

I do one at a time usually, but you can do them together and I do both from the drivers door switch panel

I wonder......I had the roof-up key-operation programmed just after I bought the car, maybe this enables the passenger window auto operation on the pre-facelift.
Sometimes it stops auto-operation so I do the above and it works again, but maybe thats because it has been enabled as above.......
