one squeak per revolution

Hi,

i think it's on the front driver side. it happens only when i'm going below 20mph i get one squeak per revolution (only when NO brakes applied). There's no sound above this speed or at any speed that i apply the breaks. i think it only squeeks when they are hot too (not 100% sure need to test it more).

I replaced the front pads, sensors and discs on saturday and on sunday i cleaned the wheels with "Simoniz Alloy Wheel Cleaner" which corroded the discs, but after a few miles the corrosion went as normal. i don't think this is the cause especially since it's only from one wheel, but then the disc was fine on saturday and sunday before cleaning them, so not sure really. :?

Any ideas?

what discs and pads did you fit? i heard sounds when i first had my ebc discs and pads fitteds, but after a couple of 100 miles and bedding them in properly they are pretty silent. but it was more a rubbing sound than a squeek.

i did have squeeks when the wear sensor was worn down and the pads were badly worn. id suggest getting the wheels off and double checking around the brake area for anything amiss.

I had a weird squeak every revolution on my TT. I managed to find it was one of the spacer bolts on a rear wheel. I had bolt on spacers and one bolt was 1/4 turn loose. A quick tighten and noise gone.

If you dont have spacers, check your wheel nuts

Oh, and when I jacked the wheels up, it didn't squeak when I rotated the wheel. It was the combination of the weight of the car being on the wheel that made the loose bolt squeak.

Yeah depends on pads. Did you put anti squeel paste on the pads as well?
This may just be a brand new pad thing.
