One for Lego fans

My other half is a Disney/Pixar fan, so went mad for the super cute wall-e, was forced to buy/construct it for her..... 3 hrs later and voila, yes really is super cute

Have to say quite enjoyed the OCD sorting of pieces and following 150odd build steps, has now reignited the Lego fan in me, and eyeing up the Porsche RS

I bought the same kit when it was first released. Lego kit was designed by the guy who actually designed the Wall-E character! Early kits had a problem with his neck mechanism. The head wouldn't stay straight due to its heavy weight. If you have the same problem, apparently you can go to Lego website and get an improved piece for free.

Thankfully it was just bought at the weekend, so it was a later kit with friction ball socket joint.
But yep I saw the web posts about getting a free upgrade from Lego - now that is customer service!

Saw the fan sites for converting it to be a bluetooth RC motorized kit which would be cool, but £100odd for the parts does make it quite expensive
