there is no such thing as a bog standard zed. Nice clean looking car Enjoy

Its a smooth naturally aspirated straight-six - and looking very sleek indeed, compare it to 95% of the cars on the road and its far from 'bog standard'

The day they even consider a diesel zed is the day I trade in. Just thethought of it makes my skin crawl.

I'm always confused by people that choose a diesel Audi TT. Sporty little coupé with a wing on the back but a 4pot diesel clatter coming from the front.

I swapped my cloth seats (which are immaculate, but why would anyone order one with them on?), for leather ones.



Would have preferred the msport ones, but I think it would look out of place on what is quite a low spec car. Having said that, it still has more gizmos than the S!

I like the instant power delivery rather than the buzzy S (which is very exciting!), and although it might be a tad slower, it still puts a smile on my face.

It was easy to make the diesel TT for Audi, they swapped a few body panels and changed the Golf badge for a TT

I agree about the diesel TT. Funnily enough a family friend (female) has just bought one, a cabrio. She tested a Z4 first but did not like it. Funny old world eh! Probably caught up in the VW diesel thing too, oh dear.

We thought about a larger engine but for us the 2.5 is big enough.
As you have said you still have a bike for speed, but what bike have you still got if you have got rid of a Fireblade?

Currently a 650 versys which I use for commuting, although its not quite the same kettle of fish as the blade.

I will probably swap it for a vfr800 in the near future, I'm a Honda fan and I've always liked the look of them. (I also have 2 vf750s that I am in the process of rebuilding as well). Fortunately the wife understands the need..
