yes the man in the pic is the owner of the e89
The e85 is nice but don't like the colour. Don't think I've seen it before.

gotta say massive respect for fixing this car up and just getting it out and enjoying it.... top marks !!

Thanks beedub means a lot coming from you. I do want to supercharge it one day but thats a long way off yet. I'm sure you've heard that many a time but if I can scrape the money together it will happen eventually. As you've seen I'm willing to take on a challenge!
You can probably see my zed in the background of the 2nd pic above. Roof down as is proper

Thanks :)
Came back from france today, drove from Dover to Sheffield without stopping. Arrived home at about 6.30 pm. What would you do at this stage?
I decided to fit the front pair of h&r springs from the set that has been sat at home waiting for me XD
didn't realise they were colour coded to my car :p never seen metallic black springs before!

the car looks awesome, the car looks VERY low now especially the back for some reason , hows the ride? handling improved?? and lastly, is the car getting over speed humps ok?? she looks a million bucks though, you've absolutely nailed this car..... please please just add a 10mm spacer all round and revel in a seriously perfect square stance.

my track suspended z4 looks 4x4 like in comparison! i can get my hand in the tyre-fender gap :o :o lol.... just the way i like it!! ( oh damn, I'm getting old)

Careful you'll get told off with that pic, a couple of mil cut off at the back  seriously though great pic and amazing car! Yeah it's definitely lower at the back but it was before. I thought it was normal on standard suspension anyway? Seems to be the case with most cars I'm not sure why.
I believe the eibach springs lower the rear less to even it out?
And I'm definitely going for spacers I've been talking to machine monkey about them. I was thinking 15mm though im still unsure atm.
I've barely driven the car today but it definitely feels more taught but I need some more time to be sure and will try my best not to succumb to a placebo effect.
the ride quality doesn't seem much different but same again need some more miles on it.
I also used a crude technique to measure the drop by using a pice of wood to measure the gap from the wing to a set part of the tyre on all 4 corners. Last night the fronts had immediately dropped 20mm and by the time I'd fitted the rears the fronts were down 25mm overall so have settled already. The rears had dropped 20 so I'd imagine they will settle a little too. It's funny as I have slightly lower profiles on the rear yet still looks a lot lower. I have 255/35 on the rear instead of 40. Fronts are standard 45. Thought they'd look fairly even because of that but unfortunately not. May have to upgrade to something adjustable in future like yours we'll see :)

Also speed bumps have been fine up to now. The real test will be those stupid square ones in the middle of the road :/
