Hi all,
I've been thinking about restoring an old-timer for a long time now, but never had the guts (and the money) to do so... I still don't have the money, but the virus just doesn't go away... So I was wondering if anyone else ever did an affordable old-timer project? I do love the BMW old-timers, but they are not exactly cheap, so what affordable alternatives do you reckon?
Also, I'm a total noob on cars, so I'm looking for a "simple" type of car. Goal is to learn bit by bit how to restore a car whilst enjoying it from time to time as well. I've seen a 635CSI shark-nose i relatively good condition, but at 5.000 euro still a little expensive for a project and for a noob...
I'm really thinking in different directions: restoration, full tuining or track car...
Thanks for the help!
