Seriously, it wouldn't do for us all to be the same and I've always liked the little MX5, this will be my 4th one. I bought the Z4 thinking what I wanted was more grunt, but as it turned out it wasn't. What I did want was something light, nimble & responsive and stripped of all the electronic gadgetry and the focus purely on the driving experience - in the same vein as an old British sportscar but with built in reliability. The Zed was nice for sure and I'd never knock it and I'll never regret having had one, my missus loved it. But, I really disliked the lack of feedback it gave, probably down to the electronic steering which I found totally dead. It handled fine after the Good Year F1s were fitted and it would probably outhandle even a well sorted an MX5 at speed through a twisty road, but eventually in comparison to my last few previous cars - the 3 MX5s and a Fiesta Zetec S, and not to mention the bike, it was less fun and I just got bored with it. I guess I'm just a small car kinda guy at heart.
