Anyone else think it possible that pic has been staged?
The poor E46 has no engine, gearbox or front structure. It also looks like the dash is not there. It does not have a windscreen either, just some polythene sheeting.

Could be, but it does happen all the time.
It fell off the back of the ramp because all the weight was removed from the front. Look at the side, the ramp has pulled the window seal out, not just some broken glass sprinkled around. Who cares anyway, it's a fun shot and if someone took the time to stage it that well, it still made me laugh
