After being sensible and trying both a very nice 3.0Si Coupe and MC I made my mind up that it had to be the M. But before I jumped into the first coupe I had seen I just wanted to make sure the car was right having never driven an M before, so I also had a drive of an M R to ensure the car felt the same (engine noise / ride / gearbox etc) and it did. So wallet in hand I make the call to the dealer and made an offer which was rejected as they also has someone else interested that day and wanted a better price! You don't fool me that easily Mr Salesman....Urgency pitch....trying get my price up I thought! Well, I decide to hold back for a few hours and call back towards the end of the day with a revised offer.....SOLD.....only not to me...... seemingly there really was someone else interested, so a car that has been sat around for 3 months gets 2 offers in the same day and unfortunately for me, I wasn't the winner
So - OWN UP!!!! Who has bought themselves a lovely MC from Knaresborough?
To be fair to the garage they had been great throughout the process and its my own fault tarring them with the same brush as many car salesman thinking it was an urgency sales tactic!
So, if anyone wants to sell a nice low(ish) mileage MC I am in the market
