Oil Service, Brake Fluid Change and 2 little mods

While it's been dry I thought I'd renew the brake fluid, so I did that yesterday. While the wheels were off I also fitted 2 led sidelight bulbs - much better than the standard yellow bulbs. I'd also bought a stubby and put that on as well.
When I went to reset the brake fluid overdue indicator I accidently reset the oil service indicator instead - clumsy sod that I am. Anyway, it only had 2000 miles to go anyway so I thought I'd change the engine oil and filter as well today. I thought I had a 36mm socket for the filter cap but I didn't so I improvised using a large jubilee clip but it slowed the job down somewhat so I've ordered a socket for next time - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/360553188054?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

So now the next countdown on the service indicator is Inspection. It's a 2004 2.5 and it's just done 20K
It had an oil service at 4814 Sept '07
Inspection 1 at 5904 April '09
Oil Service at 8026 March '10
and today's oil service at 20K
The next inspection is in another 15.5K
Will this be then ready for an Inspection2?
 
Right, you alternate between inspection 1 & 2 each time inspection is called for, with a scheduled oil change between each call for inspection, whether 1 or 2.
 
Oops, sorry, I was reading the service book but missed out the service it must have had before I bought it last April by the previous owner but the book wasn't stamped for some reason. When I got it home after purchase the oil was fresh and the air & cabin filter were like new, so I think it must have had an inspection service then and it was counting down to the oil service - which I have just done.
I was wondering about which inspection because I thought I saw on another thread that inspection 2 wasn't needed until a decent mileage was on the car - I'm thinking mainly of plug changes mainly which I'll change probably at the next one anyway.
 
Any piccies of the mods ? and which LEDS did you go for?
Did mine a few weeks ago! - though I have had worse condendation probs since I did the lights, so much so I have changed one back for a new one.... and its still there, so I hope you are more lucky than me!! :cry:

I used the same ones as you as I saw your post. Cheers :)

I had issues with condensation in October after I changed the lever inside the lights for driving in France. I went through heavy rain in France and the drivers side particularly took in a lot of water about 3mm deep! After drying them out I reversed the seal and blathered it with silicone grease especially at the top curved part as this is where it seemed to seep in on mine. I made sure I put pressure on the cover to seat it as I put the clip back. I get a very slight condensation now which is a lot better. Probably could do with a new cover really.
