Oil checker used to work until recently. Now it keeps checking with the clock icon displayed for a good while (several minutes) and then just cancels. It does it on cold and warm engine, while driving and stationary, no matter for how long I've been driving it. When I drive it for a while and then stop and turn the engine off, the checker just says "ok" immediately after pressing. Could it be cause by dying battery? And is there any other way to check the level?
