Oil Filler Cap Rubber Seal

Can just the rubber seal be replaced on the oil filler cap or do I have to spring for around $50.00 and buy an entire cap? Mine has a small leak probably from being tired after almost 20 years. I know I can get a generic one on Amazon for a lot cheaper, but I want the OEM one that is marked BMW and Castrol for originality reasons.

The seal is removable so if you buy a generic cap you should be able to transfer it over providing the generic cap is correct and uses the same rubber seal.

I already replaced the squarish one, but thanks anyway TriggerFish. I too thought about buying a generic one and just using the seal. Worth a shot.
