So Im going to change the oil on the Z as It was changed 2 years ago apparently...And as I am replacing the oil housing gaskets I though it would be a good time as any..

The dilemma apart from measuring exactly how much has come out of the engine,is how do i check if I havent put too much in or vice versa...

Cheers lads for all the help so far :D

Did a 2 litre yesterday.
Get it nice and hot, whip out the drain plug and leave it for an hour or so while you do something else.
Take the filter out and the filler cap off too. If the filter is still in place it seals some oil within the housing.

Then I simply measured 4.25 litres and poured it in. After a little run and warm up the elctronic gauge showed full.
