Just did my first Oil change, Had installed the radium catch can about 4ishk miles ago. Was pretty excited to see how much it had colected but it was bone dry :[ i guess thats a good thing cars still low mileage and im sure its doing what its supposed to already to filter out blowby.
I did swap out the plugs too and found a bit of oil in 3 and 4 so next will be checking the gasket

While I dont agree with that generalized statement Id rather have it and not need it. There was pleanty of people usinng them in the Alfa community that would get pleanty of oil caught, also direct injected.

YES THEY DO - got a sintered metal filter one on my 35i with only 40k on it, empty it once a year has about a teaspoon or two in it at the most. Not a lot but thats a lot of carbon on the valves
