Oh oh...Looks expensive??

Not done the lollipops as yet. I'd had enough after dealing with the coolant system. My hands and arms are as sore as buggery.
Blacksmith sized hands+popeye's forearms+really tight spaces+sharp edges = annoying pain,scrapes and bruises. :thumbsdown:

Back to the lollipops....I opted for the meyle HD instead of the polys. I will post up some pics of what else I found later. I thought the car was a bit more wandery than usual on the M62 between ferrybridge and M18 jnc. Jeesh!!! still puzzled though as to why the bushes were completely destroyed in such a short period of time/mileage :? .

Point of note though for others....do not opt for cheaper options for these bushes. I thought I could get away with buying cheaper(not the cheapest btw) because of the limited miles I would do, it is only my weekend/sunny day toy after all. How wrong can a person be??? I was oh so wrong and I've paid the price, literally, now having to pay for decent bushes and find the time to replace them. Also after seeing the state of the bushes and especially what I found yesterday the Zed is parked up until repairs can be done.....and it's glorious weather..

On the plus side they are easy to replace, especially when the old ones are already in pieces. Fitting the polybushes was a bit of a pain as you need to get the old metal cage out of the housing.

Quick update on bushes. Bit more damage than first apparent. Bloody fooking 'ell was my response to these.


Methinks these 2 pieces should be joined together.

I think that's just an insert. Fluid is from the body of the bushing.

Well finally got round to changing the lollipops. TBH they weren't in as bad as condition as the earlier pics looked but I reckon they were still knackered.
Not sure but I reckon you shouldn't be able to move the bush from one side to the other with little effort. As in the pics below.


Fitted meyle H'd ones and car feels loads more responsive and tighter in the corners. Tramlining is also massively reduced.
