Offsets

Hi all. Are all wheels stamped or marked in some way to show the offset of the wheel? The reason I ask is that I enquired 3 times now at Mstyle, twice via email and once via on line chat about the offsets for these wheels
http://www.mstyle.co.uk/bmw-3-series/e90-and-e91/alloy-wheels-tyres/mstyle-collection/performance-twin-spoke-wheel-set-in-silver.html. Each time I have been fobbed off with "the offset depends on what car they will be fitted to". I then tell them and never get any further response from them :headbang: Surely offset is specific to the wheel and nothing to do with what car it will be fitted to :?

As you rightly say the offset is a measurement of the wheel, I think they mean different offsets of the same wheels are available for different cars.

Yes, offset is fixed according to the wheels - whether they will fit depends upon the car they are being fitted to!

I don't know the standard sizes and offsets for e89s, but you should be able to find out here:- https://www.wheel-size.com/size/bmw/3-series/2006/

As to what will fit this may help:- https://www.willtheyfit.com/

All the BMW wheels I've had have the size and offset (aka ET or in BMW speak IS) stamped on them!
