Would anybody in their right mind pay 500 GBP for one of these? Given to understand rare as RHS. Colored satin black, with nuts and plastic covers. Almost unmarked, similar to but not quite the same as the Z4M or M3 unit in that its kinked to the rear so enabling the oil cap to be removed.

Now you see, I thought that but didn’t ask to show my ignorance  I just put it down to someone having a rant

Yip Sterling in linga banker. My keyboard only has dollar, as we are out in the colonies, first to see the sun each day

Oh I've only ever said GBP, I assumed it was something else
I think with some engines you can fit a much cheaper E46 strut brace without it getting in the way of the oil cap, might just be the M54 though

Actually I'm not sure that a OEM strut bar was ever available? And see that the E46 M3 unit is still available new at $602. So school me up on this item please. Fits the 4M AND the three litre E85 and E86 variants, but on the N52 engined cars obscures the oil filler cap, right?

The only BMW Z4 OEM brace was in satin silver. They have a kink, but it’s to the front. Kink to the back just means it’s been put on arse about face. It also doesn’t have a cap for the strut centres, just the nuts.
