Odd spec E85

This video popped up in my recommendations randomly; the interior colour/seats struck me as unusual as I’d never seen them before, but later in the video there are clearly what appear to be front parking sensors that look factory - was this ever an option? Don’t think I’ve ever seen an example with them before.

In my opinion it is a good prospect car

I would have had it off him but was too busy looking at the B10 alpina he had

The other car he has of interest is a 2.2 z4 04 plate with hard top and genuine 30k miles

I like the interior. Is the seat centre panel in fabric ? Front PDC was not factory on the E85 and none of those sensors front or rear are genuine BMW items. The genuine sensors are flush fitting without the little collar those have

There is an official front pdc dealer install kit, but that has sensors on the numberplate holder.
So at least the sensors here are not BMW.

Seats are code FAPF "Cloth/leather "Active Sports"/perl-grey"

Sadly that car is was not much loved with the damage in the roof, multiple paintdamages and dings....
For 60k miles that car is pretty tatty..

chatted to the acquaintance over the weekend and was surprised this went for a measly £2.6k at auction

I'd have given him £3k all day long
