Odd loose long plastic cover found...help

I've been taking my time the past few weeks in doing a few things. I've cleaned the ICV, replaced the PCV valve with all hoses, changed oil level sensor, changed oil/filter, due to that, still have to replace the belts, and here's what I found.

When I was tightening up the oil filter cap my socket got loose from my wrench and fell. When I went to get it back up this completely detached guard is there for my eyes to see under the hoses in the pic and I have no idea where it came from. I'm not sure if the huge socket lodged it loose, but nothing on it appeared to be broken. Any ideas as to what it's to? I know in the pic it might be hard to tell because it's black guard on black under body shield.

Are you sure that is actually loose ? Looks like a piece of the undertray...

yeah moves very free, it's just laying on top of the tray. I pushed it around so that I could try and fit it all in the pic, it's not attached to anything, tried to push it up and wiggle it out but it's probably easier to take it out by loosening the tray from underneath, but it moves freely so I don't want it bouncing around in there

I can't get on realoem.com on my iPad anymore (safari crashes :x ) or I would have a look. Go on there and have a look under 'Trim' - you may find a bit that looks like it ?

That is the closest thing on the diagrams that looks to it, but just not quite, I'll loosen up the under tray and see if I can slide it out, it's just a very odd thing LOL
