2005 Z4 3.0i w/37K miles
My mechanic had the car since last summer to do the roof hydraulics and address an issue with the brake system. Got the car back last week with a ton of codes and an airbag light (93E7 - undervoltage). Replaced the battery which (so far) has eliminated the airbag light and most of the codes.
I still have codes for the following:
OD & OE - jam protection
33 - wiper blocking/contact
I also have a 611B steering angle code.
When I open the roof the windows go down half way and that’s it. If the windows are down and I raise the roof they remain down.
I tried opening/closing the windows and holding the button to reset them - no change.
I also orig had multiple steering codes and turned the wheel to each side several times that cleared the other codes but not the 611E.
My initial research is pointing to the GM5 module. Any other suggestions before I consider pulling it and sending it for rebuild? What should I be looking at for the 611E code?
