OBD2 Apps for iPhone?

Anybody know of a good OBD app for the iPhone.
One that can read and clear codes but also can communicate with a Bluetooth OBD2 diagnostic scanner?

If you're wanting an OBD app to work with your Z3MC I think you might have some difficulty. As you know the S50 MC only has the BMW 20pin socket under the bonnet and even if you use a 20pin -> OBDII adapter I think you'll find that nothing will work. That was my finding anyway.

Hi exdos. Luckily not for the MC, as aside from the front NS creak I have she's running great! This is for the family shed: Mk4 Golf. Rained hard today and an emissions engine light appeared. Seems to be okay now the cars dried off, but want to double check it anyway.

Thanks hopz121 for the suggestions. Bluetooth OBDII interface unit I have is marked up as ELM 327 so presume this will be compatible (never got around to trying it previously with my old Android phone).
 
Sorry to go off topic a little but what Bluetooth OBD2 units do you guys use?

There is so many to choose from! I currently have a wired type is there any extra benefits of the BT units? Thanks :D
 
I got mine from eBay IIRC Terryvision. Think they're all fairly standard and are BT for phone connection convenience.

:cry: don't hold much hope for me connecting up then. Bought when I had an android phone and probably didn't check iphone compatibility.
 
I use a GoPoint BT1for getting at the OBC info.

They have their own app to read/clear codes.

Works with Harry's LapTimer and DashCommand, etc.
 
You will need a wifi OBD dongle for it to work with apple devices guys, i don't think the bluetooth ones work with apple devices.

I had a Plex kiwi 2 which was great but slightly pricey.

Thinking about it, Ive got an old HTC Hero in a drawer somewhere, so may just get the OBDII software on that and use it as my diagnosis/reset machine.

The BT1 works fine over bluetooth, but it's was Apple certified - hence the higher price point.
