OBC going a bit nuts

Halfords fitted it and gave me a gadget to plug into the cigarette lighter which he said would remember any stored options. But it obviously didn't work this time.

Just read somewhere else that you need to get the battery registered to the car after fitting or it still thinks the old battery is fitted to the car. Is this true?

Just a change of subject but somehow almost similar...
MOT on my car on tuesday....should i check things like washer fluid etc? Im imagining they wont fail a car for having low washer fluid etc?
Just a random/stupid question which i prob should kno the answer to already
But just checking

Common sense is to check everything you can and is obvious such as fluid in the washer (does not of course have to be full, just work), tyre treads, lights, horn, wipers, etc. all working. Shame to fail on something stupid. That said you jsut fix and take it back. Most won't charge if done in 7 days but they can if it leaves the premises.
