OBC driving me insane in the membrane :/

Mostly Holland. Sometimes UK.
So now that I've curtailed most of, or rather the most urgent of Betty's mechanical issues I've turned my attention to her electricals.
I was fiddling about with the onboard computer and remembered how it was driving me mad a couple of months ago. Everytime I flip up the screen I get a screen with a heading 'SPEED DIAL'. It doesnt matter what mode or screen I'm in otherwise, this one appears after a few seconds and it's beginning to send me round the fekin twist! Can't get rid of it. Even switching into the navigation mode with the map on the screen this one cuts in and stays.
There are no phones paired - my cranky old iphone 4S doesnt wanna play ball sadly.
Any ideas anyone? See pic of said screen.
And before the eagle-eyed amongst you spots I know the wrong date is showing! No harm living in the future

Also, how can I set the screen brightness so that it stays at max? It always defaults to mid-brightness in the settings, which is dimmer than dim Timmy McDim from Dimmsville!

I can't offer a huge amount of help but I know the phone setup can behave funnily when there are too many phones connected/remembered. Have you tried wiping the phone memory out of it? I can't remember the exact process but someone will. Have a search for "Bluetooth pairing not working" or something like that and I'm sure the instructions will be in there somewhere.
