Nurburgring Trip Oct 2010

First trip in the Z4, 16th - 19th October..........track opening times not too good, but should be able to get a few laps of the GP circuit in as well.

I'm in Germany for the GP next year and was thinking about doing it then. Question is.... Am I going to look like an idiot doing it in my 2.0 or are there people there with not just super cars? :-(

I'm tempted to go out there in my fiesta van for a couple of days at a more reasonable pace (68bhp 8) ) before I take the Monster... so I wouldn't worry about that.

You should still be able to hustle it around pretty quickly & have a good time !

Going out on Norfolkline noon on the 16th, £39 return, back on the 16:01 on the 19th. Staying in a guesthouse in Adenau, £30 a night Inc brekkie.

The Ring really isn't anywhere near as dangerous or as daunting as it's described by the over dramatic, however it can be a bit intimidating. If you're the type to be intimidated, try and get out on a Wednesday or Thursday when far far less busy.

no, you'll be fine, allsorts are there, from the super fast, to the very slow, plus the haven't got a clue.

You get everything on the Nordschleife including coaches doing tourist trips around the circuit. You won't be out of place.

I overtook a camper van going around Karousel. No, you will not look out of place in a 2.0
