Hi all,

Here is my 05 roadster for sale. Really has been the best car I've owned to date, but I'm hoping to scrape together enough pennies for a TVR and I just can't afford to own both.
It's just clicked over 94k, and has full service history (only one non BMW/specialist service, and that was before I owned it). It has all the original manuals and BMW leather(effect) folders that came with it, and has only had 1 previous owner before me. It's had the Bilstein B12 springs/shocks kit (plus new top mounts at the rear and new strut top bearings at the front) fitted just this Jan, which has really improved the body control compared to the tired oem shocks, and it had new brake discs and pads all round a year ago.
Bad points are: A scratch on the front wing (which I will get sorted before the sale) and the wheel rims would benefit from a refurb at some point (see pics).
I don't think I need to say too much more about the car, I'll let the spec and the pics do the talking, but please ask (or PM me for phone/email) about anything I've missed! Happy to consider sensible offers.

Thanks for looking!!

How deep is the scratch mate? Have you tried taking in to a detailer to see if they have make it look better?

How much tread do the tyres have?

Thanks

Ash

I've not taken it to a detailer - I just use a "chip stick" usually then polish over the top. I don't notice it day-to-day, but I didn't want to not mention it and let it be a surprise to someone viewing it. Rear tyres were new at the MOT and only have a few hundred miles on them (just around town and some motorway, so basically like new). Fronts are 2-3 years old but still have 6mm on (measured by Bristol pro-tyre at the MOT).

Thanks for the reply.

Has it has a roof motor changed in its time?

Have any other suspension parts been replaced? i.e. bushes etc

Ash

Hi, the roof motor's not been changed as far as I know. We use it year-round, so it's not gone unused for long periods (which I think is a good thing).
The front control bushes were done at the MOT this year with Meyle HD parts supplied by me. The track rod ends were also replaced as the old ones were corroded and they couldn't do the alignment.

Oh, and I mentioned the rear top mounts were done, but they're Lemforder for what it's worth. The new bearings at the top of the front struts are SKF.

Good luck mate, seems people are asking more for them now the sun's come out

All the best with the sale

Maybe I should put the price back up! In all seriousness, I've found it hard to know where to price it, with all the various age/spec/condition cars out there and prices seem all over the shop. Open to offers though, if you're interested
