Notty 2nd and Clock

Hi everyone,
Been driving my Zed for a week now and 1st to 2nd gear is pretty notty is that normal for a 2007 Roadster with 24,000 miles on it?

Also can't for the life of me sort the time clock out. Clock reads pm when should be am all the threads and the handbook say I should have a button with a clock on it but I don't seem to have one. All I have been able to do is change the clock to 24hr mode by pressing in the left hand lever on the steering wheel.

Forgive me I am new.

Ive got a 2003 3.0 and the gearbox was a bit of a ruddy pig... I changed the gearbox oil last week for some Royal Purple Synchromax and boy what a difference. Still a wee bit notchy when cold but when its up to temp its a hell of a lot better... Oh yeah, my mileage was only 36000 at the time

For the clock, just change the time to 12hrs ahead, no? Rotate the twiddly thing on the dash clockwise and the clock advances, anticlockwise and it goes backwards. I think thats right?!?! :P
 
Aha ! Found the clock button disguised in black right in front of me behind the steering wheel, thanks all sorted.
