Since I bought it from Keith, she's only done about 1200 miles. It's not a daily driver and more a fair weather car but I thought I'd be driving it a lot more than I have been doing. It's seriously bringing the mileage average down and looks like I'll get another year of extended warranty below 60000 come November time..... 8)
Seriously, other than four days last week and the odd day here and there, what a crap year for top down driving so far!!!!
She's all polished up, detailed up and rearing to go if the weather will cooperate a bit. So I'm sticking to my 535D until it dries up.

Yeah I keep polishing mine and next day the damn rain undo all my work lol

Mine's going in to BMW in a couple of weeks for repairs to the roof (at the moment there's a hydraulic leak so I can't use the roof) and new pads. Can't wait for it to be fixed and for the good weather so I can use it again!

I know, I am in Plymouth. Weather is dire, although if you drive out of the town its often better. Still as my daughter used to say when she was tiny "don't complain about the rain daddy, it makes the flowers grow" kids, gotta love em.....

it can only get better, not sure when, but usually when I go on holiday, everyone says it was lovely while you were away :headbang:

+1 :(

Somerset seems to have been in perpetual rain for the last six or seven months, poor Zed needs some miles put on it.

Hope it dries out when I eventually get there, looked at a place in urgashay last week that ticked all my boxes, I’m quietly hopeful :P

Have you not contacted No5 in Bristol for the roof work - sure he's much more reasonable than BMW.

Remember the old nursery rhyme, Doctor Foster. Yes I know where it is. Not far from North Devon where it floods most years. Just doesn't make the news every time.
Keep hearing South always sunny in Cornwall.

Wet weather? I am in the North West and am thinking of swapping my Z for a boat! Its a 2015 35iS with just 2500 miles on the clock.

:D I was thinking of a speed boat to go with the webbed feet you get up here due to weather. Just back from Kent, never rains there does it? Went to white cliffs of Dover last weekend and my mobie switched to French telecom, Baguette telecom or something like that!

As for the Z, I just keep polishing till the sun comes out.

yes lol, phones do have a habit of doing that on the coast, oh believe me it rains, but I do think we have more than our fair share of the better weather

Fingers crossed then, it's a nice place and not too far from the Haynes museum and Fleet Air Arm, both of which host events and a sweet run to the South coast
