Not one Z spotted in NYC ??

I agree with all of what you say. We are NY addicts and have been many times, we got married there in 2007 and the last time was back in March and not once have I seen a 'Zee 4' ! And despite the roads being terrible I have seen all kinds of exotica and supercars but not a single, solitary Z4 ! :?
I can't recall ever seeing a Z4 or Z3 in NYC. There are however a number of Z car clubs in NY State and every spring I attend a Z car event/cruiZe in upstate NY in Woodstock with over 30 Z's participating. I know that other members of our local Eastern PA Z club often go into NYC which is less than 90 miles. None of us ever drive into NYC. We take the bus as driving in NYC is not fun.
Massive fans of NYC, just came back from there at the beginning of November.
I could have spent an entire day in the 911 museum, fascinating place & done very tastefully, as it was we spent 5 hours in there & it only felt like a couple, you'd have to be made of granite to not be moved by what you see in the museum.

We went to the NYFD museum which had it's own 911 rooms and yes I had tears in my eyes looking around there, poor buggers didn't stand a chance
I got speaking to a guide who is a retired fireman and he said he couldn't go into the rooms without breaking down, even now.
Mrs FB had a treat though, they were doing photos for a fire fighters calendar, I did get a photo of her with a well toned bloke (it was like looking in a mirror) but had to promise not to show it on social media.

Sounds like you took your wife then. My trips are always reasonable in costs, when my wife joins me, that is when it becomes expensive with all those "bargains"

I'll look out the NYFD museum next time I'm back in NYC.
Did you do the Highline walk?, really enjoyed that & to be recommended if the weather is up to it, like you Mrs P had stumbled across a photoshoot (on the Highline walk) , some guy was doing a shoot for Breitling watches.

The NYFD museum is located on Spring street, we did the high line walk and was lucky with the weather too.
We had good weather for most of our stay, which really helped. Central park is quite something, we ended up walking the whole length of it, also went to long island beach, good old Metro 7 day unlimited pass was a real worked well.
