Hi all, as the title says, I bought a Z4 yesterday, drove it home from Hinckley, smiled all the way, I've always promised myself one,
and the one I bought defiantly didn't disappoint whatsoever, from a very sparce and lacklustre add on fleabay, I think I honestly
got a gem, and that, believe you me is unknown occurrence! If you told me you paid 2 grand for the car that I bought, I'd be jealous!
High mileage, 150000 (in some peoples eyes, in mine it means reliability) 2004 3.0i manual, sterling grey, 4 previous owners, 5 stamps
in book, bmw business cd, 10 speakers, cruise control, headlight wash, fold in mirrors, electric heated memory seats, PDC, Multi Function
steering wheel, M sport suspension, none of these were mentioned in the add! seems it's fully loaded, am sure I'm going to find
more, it's like a gift that keeps on giving, anyway, I'm Rob, live in Manchester, and not new to bm's,
I have a 1991 320i e30 touring (currently sorn, awaiting metal surgery!) an ex boy racers  2005 e46 320d coupe,
and a 2008 e92 320d coupe, and this Z4 is the best, mind you, only drove it once! going out in it in a min, for the 2nd time,
so probably be grinning my head off when I get back. (it's wet out there, must be responsible) ;)
Also, if it starts that is, new car jitters, lol.

Welcome to the Forum. Lots of friendly helpful people. A few curmudgeonly souls. You’ll soon get to know them. Looking forward to seeing some photographs of your new acquisition.👍

Hi and welcome to the forum Rob.

It sounds like you got a bargain there, especially for a car loaded with those options. Now all we need are photos!

I will add some of my pictures through the week, unfortunately work gets in the way, but here's the link from fleabay
https://shorturl.at/JykxZ if anybody wants to have a gander, not too sure if putting links in posts are allowed, am sure I'll find out if they're not, 😊
Oh, I also found a 6 cd changer in a small cubby hole, bonus, also, it seems one of the previous owners have fitted bluetooth
to it too, bonus, cd player, double bonus, mirrors don't fold in on the key, tried my carly thing, but made no difference, horn
doesn't work, can hear clicking when pressed but no actual 'beep' passenger window has one touch down, but not up, it does
though when using the comfort close?
Mirrors don't electronically adjust, these little niggles don't phase me, I can press a button to fold the mirrors, and shout at
people who annoy me on the road, and the passenger will have to put their own bloody window up!!
Rob..

Horn failures are common. Easy to access through the lower panel at the front of the wheel arch liner.
Passenger window one touch up is a common thing and just needs coding to work.
You can try cleaning the window switch but may be easier to source a replacement. Little tip for you: the ones with the folding mirror button cost more. Buy one without it, take the cover off and you’ll see the switch is actually under there, so just swap over your cover and the button.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, thanks for your advice, will look into them when I get some free time from work and other commitments, admittedly I've not driven it as much as I hoped, been away with work for 2 and a bit weeks, hopefully if the weather is ok ish at weekend I'll get some decent pictures, got a couple I'll add now, of my weekly (sometimes more) driver, and my intended weekend driver!!
Rob..
