So what we do is pre-book usually 4 or if it’s Premier Inn and Argyll Andy is attending 8 rooms (assuming this year he’s happy to do that) on our Business Booker privileges which allows us on PI to change guest details and cancellations with no charge upto 1pm the day before.
So in this case the rooms are allocated first come first served..so you made the initial cut..assuming no changes you simply pay on arrival for your room at the bargain basement price we hopefully go for booking early….so you take the total number of rooms divide the total charge by 4 and that’s your price for the 3 nights…
It gets more complicated with rooms outside of PI..we usually use Booking.com as we can her up to 15% discount off published prices..same overall logic applies but sometimes we have to pay a few days / weeks before the run dates and often the rooms are at slightly different rates due to vagaries of hotel non uniform design…

In this case, relax, kick back ..I’ll need your proper names in due course for the hotel booking..by default they are booked in the names of Fred Astaire, Ginger Roger’s and Humphrey Bogart…
We set up a WhatsApp group prior to run time to allow for discussions about logistics, lunches, dinners etc..useful over the weekend in case group gets seperated etc..

If we can’t manage it / and /or we’ve exceeded our limits then you book direct..of course you can book direct if you wish ..or if you want you can book elsewhere subject to being able to make the start time / location as expected…usually around 9 am ish..
