North East/North Yorkshire day out*Cancled*

:thumbsup: - the rival Pistonheads run is getting a huge drop-out too as the locals bail (!) Might not be too late for a gathering, but might have to be late notice when weather reports are better.

Sammyz - what's it like over yours? Possible to hi-jack the date and run around Bowland or Wales - but saying that the forecast's prety damp there too :(
 
Forecast has got worse as week's gone on. :( I will see if I can organise a North Wales run if there is interest. Will have a look at the next few weeks and let you all know.
 
good choice, I was looking forward to a lovely day out and there is bugger all chance of that. Mud on the road has written off one of my previous cars, spinning along at speed is not much fun. Best avoided. Thanks for the effort and thanks for the intelligent response to the weather dave. Another time.

I have been second guessing myself a bit since I decided not to do this so I went out for a little bimble today. I'm not any more, the roads are not good I had a fewbum clenching moments and I was taking it easy :cry: .
 
Sad though we are you definitely did the right thing, thanks for your efforts and we look forward to next year. Instead the Guiseley's have the excitement of decorating :roll:

If it makes you fell any better I have the choice of going for a walk up a mountain in the lake and getting very wet I would think given the forecast or housework. Although there is a bit of bike racing on the telly :) .
