Afternoon
Have had a meander around the forum since acquiring my first E86 a couple of weeks ago - thought it would rude not to say hi! Previously had a much modded 2.8 Z3 and a 2.5 E85.
The car? A 2006, previously Cat registered, and it's somewhat bought not built. 82k miles, dark grey, red leather, M front bumper, on Bilstein coilovers, with some fancy alloys and steel all track tyres. Which have to go at some point soon. Initial thoughts are steering wheel needs recovering (booked in at Royal for the end of the month), headlights need sorting (will have full detail and headlight restoration soon), steering vague at 70+ (see comment on tyres and then possibly eps adjustment). Going to get it booked in at Center Gravity for a chassis set up and go from there. My other toy is a Monaro, so pretty well versed at messing with things (and then getting a grown up to fix them). Once the chassis is sorted then there's a dint in the bonnet to get sorted.
