Hi everyone!

Thought I'd finally get around to joining a Z4 forum.
I purchased a 2003 3.0i Z4 at the end of summer last year and love it!
This is my midlife crisis car as my daily commute is a Ford Galaxy School bus, you couldn't really get any further from one extreme to the other!

Anyway thought I'd pop in and say hi.

Cheers Chris

Thanks Matt

I'll get some pics posted once I've transferred them into photobox.

Meanwhile here's a quick video I did:

Welcome to the Forum Chris. I liked the video, particularly the boot mounted 360 sweep- what equipment setup did you use to take that?

Really enjoyed the video - like the way the music and engine noise can both be heard.

Got any twisties where you live - liked the low side camera mount, it would give a great view on a few tight corners

Hi and welcome.

You Tube didn't work for me, so I'd like to a see a nice stil pic of your Zed!

Enjoy :driving:

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Not sure why the video isn't working for some of you as it is set to public for viewing.

Marlon - I used a GoPro Hero 4 Silver on a turnspro head (http://www.turnspro.com) on a suction mount. It's ok but a bit shaky due to the weight. I've got another professional suction mount but that looks like overkill with a GoPro on it.

As promised here are a couple of photos:

Stubby Aerial Mod

So far the only mods I've done is the stubby aerial and fitted a Brodit phone holder and replaced the gear knob for another original, the old one was scratched up and I've added a private plate.
The Z4 had the AC Schnitzer wheels on when I brought it which was one of the reasons it caught my eye.
My next mod is to remove the inside door handles and either replace them or cover/spray them, these too are scratched up.
I also need to get the windscreen replaced or polished because it has wiper scratch marks right in your eyeline.

Recently had all the front end rebuilt, springs, wishbones etc as it had collapsed over winter. Had both sides done at the same time so its now ready for the nicer weather! Really want to test out that M-Sport suspension!!

Front end sitting low after spring snapped: -really lucky this happened on the driveway and not whilst driving it, fortunately my local mechanic is only up the road so I managed to limp it there carefully. They had to chock it up to get it on the ramp, luckily it didn't cause any damage.
