Non-RFTs on 108s

Now I know this has probably been covered a thousand times before, but my dealer is adamant that this is not the case.....

Can non-RFTs definetly be fitted to the 108 alloys? If anyone has done it what have they told their (UK) insurance company about the change (if anything)?

My dealer seems to think that the tyre pressure monitoring system will go nuts and that my insurance would be invalid if I had an accident?!!

Oh and second question! Has anyone figured out how to get the little plate off that covers the manual mechanism on the fully auto hood (the little plate thats above the rear view mirror with the hood closed)??

Lazerium yes 108's can be used without RFT.

Contact your insurance company to be on the safe side, as they will all differ

Never needed to remove cover so never tried. :)

In the UK the TPM works by using the ABS sensors to compare the number of revolutions of each wheels relative to one another, a deflated tyre will have more revolutions per set distance. The type of tyres doesn't matter, and it'll still work properly too.
