Hi

Having moved off the RFTs what is everyone carrying around ? Any recommended solutions as to what to put in the car, just in case I need it.

Cheers

For me all except one pot hole buster (then i drove home on the flats, no damage to rims) have been slow punctures due screws or nails. Just carry a pump and keep topped up until you can get to garage at your convenience. Don't use the gummy stuff, a garage told me that's a pain to remove and fix tyre.
I have a slow puncture at moment, when the pressures drops to 35psi from 42psi the warning goes off. Been like that 4 months now.
Have new tyres but just wanting to get monies worth out of existing.
Failing that do as i do if daily driver, buy a space saver.

Cheers all ... I have one of those rats tails kits for the bike, but it’s easy to find the puncture and get to it on that .... maybe tyre weld and compresssor is the way forward ....

I have 2 cans of Holts Tyreweld and a compressor.

A 17" spacesaver, jack and wheelbrace.

RAC Recovery membership.

Now I just need to get around to having the new wheels refurbed and the non-RFTs fitted!

Well I thought I was the only one who had a backup to his backup with maybe some extra batteries too!

Following Mr Tidy's example, have just added a compressor. (Well, a very small ten quid AA one from a Sainsbury's petrol station.)

I’m still on a diet/health kick so sticking to a manual powered pump :P

Had to use the Merc pump to raise pressures for a heavier load.

Like to share the things ultra quick/powerful, so much so I bought another for the Z from flesbay... gauge is a little small though far better than the great Michelin pump I’ve been using.
