Nokian WR A3 225/40 18 Traction warning light

My new Nokian Wr A3 are a bit twitchy on the 3.0 Si manual. I went for x4 18" alloys 8" wide (i think) with 225/45 18 V all corners. On spirited acceleration I get a lot of traction warning light coming on even in 3rd gear sometimes.
It does not seem to be spinning or losing much traction. I suppose this is the compromise of using winter tyres. I have lowered pressures to 35 rear 33 front to see if that makes any difference.

It's the compromise of using winter rubber with tread blocks that move around more than summer tyres - as this is how they get more heat into the tyre.

It's also due to the smaller width of the rear tyre.

So that you've now got a slightly smaller contact patch on a tyre that naturally 'squirms' a bit more.

In addition to the above, all tyres need scrubbed in to get rid of the release agent (?) that I believe is still on the tyres when brand new. Takes 3-500 miles IIRC. That said, my winters that I have on for the third year now are squirmy too. When it gets really cold they settle down. I kind of like it though - can be fun when you do it deliberately, and reminds you that you should be taking more care when it happens unintentionally.
