Noisy Drivers Seat

Noticed the past few days that my drivers seat seems to be creaking.

Now then, it could be from the enormous weight of my fat arse, but it seems to be coming from the backrest. The seat isn't pushed too far back.

I have the lumbar support, so yesterday let all the air out and also of the bolsters, but no difference.

Does the headrest actually come out?

Any ideas?

In the e85 you can get this when the seats too far back so possibly your headrest is rubbing?

I'm quite sure it isn't too far back. It certainly isn't touching anything when I get out of the car, so unless it flexes loads when i'm in it, it wont be that. However, I will get Deb to check it when I sat in it.

The headrests don't appear to be removable, part of the main seat. My passenger one can make a little tapping noise when going over rough ground as the seat is shaking about, but no creaking etc. Unless as others have said, its from the back rubbing against the bulkhead. My seat is about an inch away for that reason.

There doesn't seem to be a difference between seat types.

I've got the same problem. Doesn't do it all the time, just occasionally and seems most noticeable when pulling away from rest. :(
