NOISE WHEN CAR SITTING FOR A WHILE

Hi all, can anyone help me, you know the noise when you open the door etc of a pump or something priming well mine would also do this when the car is sitting for a while. Had it out today and put it back under it's covers (summer fun car) and about 4 hours later was putting other car in the garage and heard it doing this "priming thing" Is this normal.

Do you have the aircon on? it could be the compressor for the air con kicking in, this cycles on and off and doesn't run constantly..

Hi no keys are out of the car, I do notice the orange light on the gear leaver also comes on (smg)

Its the SMG pump priming Do you also hear it when you unlock the car?

Hi mate, yes but does it do it even if you dont touch the car for a while?
