ok i attempted to put in a aftermarket head unit in my car but afte i got the oem out and put the aftermarket in... the headunit lit up and everything worked buttt noo sound out of thespeakers any ideas and y?
put it this way cause i hooked up every wire and everything worked besides the sound.. i have the preimun sound package in my car no navi and no ipod dock or aux
You could plug just two wires in ( + & - ) and everything would look like it worked with no sound, so that doesn't really help.
If you have the DSP amps then it could be a lot more complicated than you think.. Do you have the subs behind the seats? This system is all driven optically and it's nothing like as simple as just putting another head unit in.
