No roof.

Wonder if anyone ever bought Z4 with faulty roof and just scrapped the roof and made a summer car.
Would reduce the weight, just carry some packamacs.
How hard would it be be to make a snap on fabric roof.

I think making a snap on roof would be pretty flipping difficult.

But maybe removing all the gubbins & just having an open top? That feels a lot easier.

A pure roadster would be fine..maybe 50kgs+ weight gone maybe upto 100kgs..no hope on viable soft top I suspect..

I once, ages ago, saw a car renovation program with specialist making a frame and soft top from scratch.

You could carry one of those storm proof car covers, or what ever they are called. They are big though... not sure if you would have storage space for anything else.
