What is the fuel consumption like? Seems a lot at £817 for 3k miles.


At 1.20 a litre say, that is 680 litres, and at 12 km / litre that should be about 8100 km, which is 5100 miles. That is using the consumption figures I had on my 3.0 but I guess an auto box may hammer this a bit down.
 
I based my figures on official urban figure (22.2mpg) at the time and that was when fuel prices were around the £1.39 mark.

As perry gunn said I'm sure that figure has come down now..
 
The auto is definitely worse on fuel consumption - I get about the same on the M as I did on my 3.0. Except on the one long mostly-motorway journey I've done in mine, when it was about 5mpg worse than the 3.0.
 
Yep, 33/34 in mine on the motorway. Always seemed to be about 23/24 with the kind of driving I do though :(
 
When I get a good run I average 38-40 quite easily. Town is a different matter though.

New Varta Silver battery installed tonight (5 year warranty) will add to the advert.

Also I forgot to add there is still another 2 years left on the GAP insurance I purchased with the car which is transferable to a new owner.

If the car does not sell by the end of the month I shall be re-insuring for another year and keeping it as SWMBO has said she doesnt want it to go :evil: :D
