No alarm arming or flashing indicators

I know this is an old thread, but I'm having the exact same problem. It looks like someone has been inside the drivers side door panel, the plastic cover for the screw is missing. My alarm system doesnt even register as being connected to the vehicle, according to the mechanic, and we did confirm that the alarm system was optioned with the car.

Do you happen to have a diagram of the fusebox and which one blew for you?
I'm going to attempt to pull off the door card a little later this week.
 
Just an observation. When sat in the car and I lock it on the fob there's no flashing from the clowns nose. Get out of the car and lock it...the clowns noise starts flashing.

Thinking that there must be a pressure sensor in the seat that tells the car that the seat is occupied so as not to set the alarm.

May be wrong but just a thought
