Does it bother anybody else that if you catch a Z4 M in the right light from the front you can clearly see the rectangular area for the air filter in the lower part of the bumper,

I wish there was a way to just make it look more blacked out and uniform. The Z4 has many curved and angled lines and it's just odd to suddenly see this perfect rectangle shape out of nowhere formed by those panels next to it.

Thoughts? Maybe cutting it.
 
I understand how things like that can bug you however I have never even noticed it so No it does not cause me any sleepless nights. :thumbsup:

My eyesight must be letting me down, because I can't see what you're talking about in that picture...????
 
I believe the corners are solid to direct the airflow for more efficient cooling.

Gids, I used blackout trim tape over the chrome.
The alternative is to paint them.
