sorry just my 2 pence,
 
Looking at the side profile, it seems if you lower it to much and fit large alloys it starts to make the roof line more bulbous compared to the sleekness of the bonnet lines and produces a rather less attractive shape.

and I might get shouted at here but I think the e89 is starting to look dated, whilst the e85 still looks clean, I think history will be kinder to Bangles design than his successor.
 
Looks ok except for the strakes under the side repeaters. They look s**t.

It was just something different i think 19s look to small on the new z4 but some like oem also, the side vents do look crap but theres not to many modded e89 cars about and was nice to see something different for ideas.
 
Very subjective, IMO in this case shrink the wheels to 19s, black out the side repeaters to make the strakes work, and add the chrome front grill surrounds back in, revert to standard twin exhausts and I'd have it :D
